Victors, Hale

Introducing in the heart of Cheshire – Victors restaurant; a Hamptons inspired restaurant & bar serving a menu of modern American small plates.

One Summer’s Sunday evening my friends and I were debating where to go for food, and ended up at Victors in the luxury town of Hale where we’d heard great things about this place.

To set the scene, it’s basically a very chic restaurant with exposed ceiling beams and designer lighting, for modern international cuisine.

Not only were the positive recommendations I’d read online were true, the decor was outstanding and the food could almost be classed as Michelin – each dish was positioned on a high pedestal and left us wanting more.

The candle-lit mood was set immediately after the warm welcoming into the venue. Not to mention the extensive array of premium dish options displayed upon arrival.

A couple of pornstar martinis down and we were soon seated at our table underneath the beautiful vines which filled the ceiling, and greatly contrasted with the very modern cuisine setting.

The recommended house Red wine was delivered which went down far too easily whilst deciding on our main. I went for the Crab linguine which as you can see, the portion sizes made me think Michelin but my tummy was crying out for more…

Although the portions were rather small considering the expensive prices on the menu, it’s always a great feeling to not be overly stuffed for dessert.

And so of course we had room for a sticky toffee pudding which was honestly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had.

Simply delicious in a wonderful and exciting setting!

It was a perfect venue to catch up with friends as we reminisced over our recent Portugal trip, and I cannot wait to return for another romantic and tasty meal đź‘Ś Bring on the Winter menu…
