Introducing Warrington’s recent opening bar & cafe – Emilys. Welcoming Ladies Night Tuesdays, Gintastic Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, Fizz Fridays & Sassy Saturdays.
Having opened just over a year ago, the cocktail bar is simply named after the female name Emily, as the owners thought it had a nice ring to it – and it’s as simple and effective as that!👌
I was invited to this PR event last weekend at the sleek & modern venue for one ‘fun in the sun’ Cocktail Masterclass with their head bartender, Yani.
Shortly after cocktail tasting/making, my food review tips were needed for trialling out the menu at their connecting authentic Chinese restaurant next door, Mr Laus. This is a more established venue to Emilys having recently celebrated their five year anniversary. As there’s enough photos thanks to professional photographer @gabi.gbl, I will stick to the one cocktail post and keep you waiting on my restaurant write up coming soon…
Emilys is perfect for a night out with the girls, pre-dinner drinks and is also suitable for baby showers and hen dos. Although the venue doesn’t yet serve food, they’re planning on shortly opening up a kitchen serving tapas/ Mediterranean style food in the upcoming months.
Of course we had to have a photie with the lovely owner of the venue, Pamela, who gave me the full background on the place. To the left of us is a fellow blogger Asha who’s an experienced writer for @yeahlifestyle; great day catching up with her also and sharing our love for food.
Prices start from as little as £25 per person which includes anything you drink – great deal especially when out with the girls! The bar is open from 12 to late and welcomes customers on a first come first serve basis.
Upon arrival we were welcomed with a warm greeting from the PR hostess, Vicky, and handed a chilled Prosecco and sweet & salted popcorn – the perfect way to start a Saturday.
I was soon escorted behind the bar and very happy trialling out my newfound cocktail making skills as learnt from Yani – the alcohol ratio was very generous and the French Martini I firstly whipped up was super sweet and tasty.
Most cocktails are priced at £7.50 and here’s a breakdown of my top three for all the cocktail fans out there;
FRENCH MARTINI:
Vodka | Créme de Mure | Pineapple Juice
COSMOPOLITAN:
Vodka | Orange Liqueur | Cranberry Juice
SEX ON THE BEACH
Vodka | Peach Schnapps | Cranberry J.
The bar was full of fancy flowers, fruit bowls, fun shakers and crushed ice to make each individual drink aesthetically pleasing.
And here’s a snippet into the stylish interior below.
The new go-to bar in Warrington for delicious cocktails at affordable prices!

Keep a look-out for my review on mooreeatsout.com of the owner’s Chinese restaurant just next door, coming very soon…
I was very kindly invited to review this venue & cocktail menu for two by the lovely owners at Emilys & Mr Lau’s and all opinions are my very own.
